I.A.C. members Code of Conduct of of 24/11/2025
NOTE: To be read and agreed in conjunction with the I.A.C. Statutes.
As a member of the International Association for Applied Corneotherapy (I.A.C.), we commit to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards in our work, interactions with colleagues and in all representations of Corneotherapy, including online presence.
By agreeing to this Code of Conduct, you agree to:
Professional Conduct
• Treat all colleagues, clients and peers with respect, fairness and courtesy.
• Encourage open, professional discussion while respecting different perspectives.
• Never engage in harassment, discrimination or personal attacks.
Integrity & Transparency
• Represent my qualifications, affiliations and professional experience honestly.
• Share scientific knowledge accurately and cite evidence where appropriate.
• Disclose any conflicts of interest or commercial ties relevant to my work.
Online & Public Representation
• Conduct myself responsibly when representing myself as an I.A.C. member online or offline.
• Distinguish clearly between personal opinion and I.A.C. positions.
• Avoid spreading unverified or misleading information.
• Contribute positively to I.A.C. forums, social media groups and professional discussions.
Confidentiality & Trust
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of members, clients and internal I.A.C. discussions.
• Use I.A.C. platforms for professional exchange and support, not for unsolicited self-promotion or the promotion brands, products or other services.
Commitment to Corneotherapy
• Uphold the principles of true corneotherapy and its evidence-based foundation.
• Avoid practices, treatments or claims that undermine or contradict the integrity of true corneotherapy.
Accountability
Accept that breaches of this Code may result in investigation and, if necessary, sanctions including suspension or termination of membership.
Declaration
I have read, understood, and by clicking the checkbox on my application or renewal, agree to abide by this Code of Conduct as a condition of my membership of the International Association for Applied Corneotherapy.
